HABITAT: Any region, however they stay near rocky and mineral rich areas
DIET: Rocks/Minerals/Less-dense Metals
LENGTH: Roughly one foot
WEIGHT: Very heavy, 50 - 85 lbs depending on the minerals they eat
HEIGHT: (from the shoulders) 1-3 feet give or take (they're more rounded)
LONGEVITY: 200 years average
BEHAVIOUR: solitary creatures who use their round, tough bodies to attack any they feel are intruding on their territory. HIGHLY aggressive!
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: They are hard-scaled creatures that have furry torsos and dwell in rocky and mineral rich areas, the back of their head (surrounding their skull) is usually made up of a stone of mineral and is free of fur or scales. MATING HABITS: Mate for life HERDING INSTINCTS: more solitary and easily enraged.
DEFENSE MECHANISMS: Hard outer scales and powerful legs and arms, rolling into a tight ball negates any damage.

FEEDING PATTERNS: They eat regularly and as often as they can - the more they eat, the more solid their outer shells become.
MATING HABITS: Once a year the males battle to attract a female. The males find who they consider their biggest threat / rivals and engage in a vicious battle, which can sometimes end in death as they will battle each other until they collapse. The opponent may not stop attacking the other, even if it becomes unconscious.
